How I built it
The journey from brief to production.
Brief
Infusion121 is my company's website. Unlike the headless projects in my portfolio, this one is a pure WordPress build — I led the project end to end, taking full ownership of the theme, content structure, and functionality across every page.
Wireframe & Design
I started with wireframes to plan the page structure and user flow, then worked through high-fidelity mockups in Figma. The final designs helped define the layout, components, and overall visual direction before development began.
Build — Custom WordPress Theme
I built a bespoke WordPress theme from scratch, version-controlled in a private Github repo rather than edited directly on the server. Using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), I built a library of reusable blocks — hero banners, testimonials, service grids, CTAs — that content editors can drag, drop, and reorder on any page through the WordPress editor without touching code. The same blocks are reused across multiple pages with different content, keeping the codebase modular and the content team self-sufficient. Enquiries feed directly into Zoho CRM, and the site ships as a PWA for fast repeat visits.
Staging & Production
The theme is developed and version-controlled through Github, with staging and production environments kept in sync via git-based deployments. That gave me a proper review and rollback workflow on top of WordPress, instead of editing theme files live on the server.
