Brief
Golfscape is a global golf booking platform that lets golfers search, compare and book tee times at courses worldwide. I joined as a website engineer early on and have been building on the platform for 7 years, working alongside the founding team as one of the pioneers of the site.
Wireframe & Mockup Design
Every feature started as a wireframe to map out the booking flow and page structure, then moved into high-fidelity mockups in Sketch. That included the admin and member dashboards used to manage tee time bookings and manually book on-call customers, mapping out those flows before development began. That process kept design and development tightly aligned before a single line of code was written.
UI/UX Implementation
The platform is built on PHP with SASS for maintainable, scalable styling and jQuery handling interactivity across search, filtering and the booking flow. I also implemented the admin and member dashboards for managing tee time bookings, including cancellations, modifying existing bookings and adjusting player numbers. I worked across the stack to turn the approved mockups into a fast, responsive site used by golfers around the world.
Deploy to Staging Environment
Once a feature was built and tested locally, I deployed it to a staging environment where the team could QA the admin and member dashboards and booking flow before pushing changes live to golfers around the world.
